Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Galerijen die doorgaans in drie of vier armen of panden rechthoekig de kloosterhof omzomen. Kloostergangen zijn omgeven door de belangrijkste kloostergebouwen, waardoor zij als verbindingsgangen dienst doen. Hier werd de kloosterlingen een plaats van verpozing en voor meditatie geboden, beschut tegen weer en wind, respectievelijk zonnehitte. 
German ..... Umschlossener Bereich mit Garten und umlaufenden Gängen, der meist auf der Innenhofseite von Säulen und auf der gegenüberliegenden von Mauern umgeben ist; normalerweise in christlich-religiösen Gebäudekomplexen zu finden. Für Anlagen in säkularen Gebäuden nur verwenden, wenn große Ähnlichkeit mit der Urform besteht.
