Note: A 3D imaging and laser scanning technique which records millions of 3D points when a laser beam is swept over a scene or object. These measurements can be imported into CAD or 3D application and displayed on a monitor as a “point cloud” with photographic qualities portrayed in one-color, gray-scale, false-color or true color. The files can be viewed, measured and analyzed as 3D models.

| Dutch ..... Een techniek voor driedimensionale beeldvormings- en laserscanning, waarin miljoenen 3D-punten worden vastgelegd door een laserstraal die over een terrein of object beweegt. De meetresultaten kunnen in een CAD- of 3D-applicatie worden geïmporteerd en op een beeldscherm worden weergegeven als 'puntenwolk' met fotografische eigenschappen: monochroom, in zwart-wit, met valse kleuren of echte kleuren. De bestanden kunnen worden bekeken, gemeten en geanalyseerd als 3D-modellen. |
