As with the other reviews of John Cage’s Cologne premiere of the Concert for Piano and Orchestra, this review acknowledges the work’s considerable applause; however, the reviewer also associates it with comedy—a Kabarettnummer (cabaret revue number)—and claims that, despite all the chaos, a certain boredom set in for listeners.
