Note: Located in: Oak Park, Illinois, United States; Tudor Revival; Prairie School; rebuilt house, built after the original three-story Tudor Revival house by Wright was partially destroyed by fire in 1922; two stories were rebuilt by Wright with significant changes. The rebuilt house was considered a success by the architect, whereas he had not been satisfied with the original structure's Tudor Revival style, which had been requested by the patron.The new design evoked the Tudor Revival, but with details of Sullivanesque, Mayan, and other exotic origins.
