Note: The house located in the Iya Valley, Japan, was constructed around the 18th century. However, it was in 1973 when Alex Kerr, a person with a strong interest in Japanese culture, bought the house and restored it. After a few years, he named the house "Chiiori," which means "House of the Flute.”
