Note: Wright was preoccupied with the Imerial Hotel project in Japan, and relegated some of the design responsibility for this house to his assistant, Rudolph Schindler, and his son, Lloyd Wright. The U.S. Department of the Interior designated Hollyhock House a National Historic Landmark in 2007. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2019.
