| Note: Large section of the body of a red-figure amphora, reconstructed from fragments. Extant on one side is a youth in a short chiton facing right. He stands on an ornamental border composed of a meander pattern with alternating filled rectangles. There is a two-letter inscription on the underside of the foot, which was added after the vase was fired. It is likely that both sides of the vase were originally decorated with a large single figure. | |
