Note: The west gate of the Red Fort in Delhi. On May 11, 1857 soliders from Meerut entered the palace by Lahore gate and destroyed some of the structure with gunpowder. Following the 1857 the Lahori and Delhi gates were renamed Victoria and Alexandra.
