Note: Located between the villages of Mill Run and Ohiopyle, Pennsylvannia, Fallingwater was built as a vacation home for Philadelphia retailer Edgar J. Kaufman. It quickly became an icon of American architecture with its dramatic cantilevered terraces perched over a waterfall.
