| Note: The deep, subtly convex body of the vessel rises from a small flanged foot, and ends in a rim that flares slightly, clearly defined by narrow incised rings. The beaker is solid gold (99.75% pure with traces of silver and copper). There are a few nicks and marks on the exterior of the vessel, and a dotted Latin inscription on the underside of the foot that indicates its weight. | |
