Note: The first abbey of the Cistercian order in Scotland, established in 1136 by David I. It was repeatedly destroyed: by Edward II in 1322 , by Richard II in 1385, and by the English in 1545.The abbey was completely rebuilt following the 1385 damage. It was secualized in 1609.
