Bailey Guard Gate (city gate; unknown ; 19th century)

Note: The Bailey Guard Gate was the main entrance to the Lucknow Residency compound. Site of a seige for control of the city in 1858. Although eventually destroyed, its ruins remain a symbol of the British Empire in India.
