[or C?] J. in Milano"--inscribed in the lower right corner; The hand-colored portrait medallion of General Bonaparte is set within an allegorical composition printed in black ink; A flag, a lance to which is attached a banderole, a liberty cap, arrows, and a sword are intertwined with a laurel branch. Below the medallion, a rooster stands on fasces atop crowns, armorial bearings, and scrolls; Forms part of: Prints of the French Revolution, 1774-ca. 1840 (Special Collections, accn. no. P980009*); Library's print is enlarged with paper margins to 32.8 x 24.5 cm.
