Note: The allegorical print after a painting by Henri-Nicolas Van Gorp promotes the fraternity and unity of the French; A lady, standing in a park in front of a temple of Liberty (Temple de la Liberté), presents an oval medallion with the Rights of Man and Citizen (Droits de l'homme et du citoyen) to a group comprised of two women, a military man, a bourgeois, and a child. In the background stands a liberty pole with a French flag inscribed "Constitution française."; Forms part of: Prints of the French Revolution, 1774-ca. 1840 (Special Collections, accn. no. P980009*).
