Note: Plans for a proposed pleasure palace for Russian Czarina Alexandra Feodorovna (neé Princess Charlotte Luise of Prussia) designed by Schinkel in 1838, and first published 1845-1848 as the second part of Schinkel's Werke der höheren Baukunst für die Ausführung erfunden, by F. Riegel, Potsdam (first part published 1840-1842); Issued in portfolio. Size and format of prints varies: Oblong col. views of the whole or sections of the palace from Schinkel's watercolors (1, 4, 7, 10-12, 2 mounted), facades and plans tinted in yellow (3, 5, 13-14), one tinted plan of the whole, black and white line drawings of structural details (VI, VIII-IX). The prints are numbered Bl. 1-14, with 6, 8-9 "Tafl. VI, VIII, IX" with imprint: Berlin u. Potsdam Verlag v. Riegel. Each "Gedruckt von Hampe, Gest. von Wischneski." The plan of the whole, the second plate, unnumbered: Verlag v. Ferd Riegel and signed: Farbendr. v. Winckelmann u. Söhne. Leit. v. J. Storch u. C. Kopper; Colored lithographs with the exception of that already mentioned as imprinted Riegel, bear the imprint of Ernst & Korn, and 4 of those are signed: Lith. Anst.v. W. Loeillot in Berlin; Contents: ; Contents: ; Library's copy bound, 59 x43 cm. Prints folded once and hinged for binding. Color of the paper stock varies: four sheets remain white, the remainder discolored. This ed. apparently without the collective title encompassing the earlier work. Publication: Berlin : Verlag von Ernst & Korn (Gropius'sche Buch und Kunsthandlung), 1873.
