(In Firenze : Nella Stamperia di S.A.S., 1661); The print depicts the horse ballet Il Mondo festeggiante performed in the amphitheater of the Boboli gardens, Florence, on July 1, 1661, as part of the festivities celebrating the wedding of Prince Cosimo III to Princess Margherita Luisa of Orléans; The print is composed on the left of twelve compartments numbered I to XII that reveal the choreographic figures of the ballet in elevation. On the right, twelve compartments, also numbered I to XII, reveal the ballet figures in plan. In the center, an inscription "PARTE Delle / Figure ..." with the name of Alessandro Carducci, choreographer of the ballet, is printed on a wall adorned with fluted moldings; Library has another impression of the etching folded and bound in Il Mondo festeggiante balletto a cavallo ... (In Firenze : Nella Stamperia di S.A.S. 1661); Forms part of the Collection of festival prints, 1530-1887 (Special Collections accn. no. P910002**).
