Dinos Painter (Attic vase painter, active ca. 440-400 BCE)
|
Note: A red-figure vase painter active in the High Classical period. His work continues the style of his possible teacher, the Kleophon Painter, but is considered less solemn. He favored large figures on large vases, a tradition that was continued by the Pronomos Painter. Figures are typically shown in active movement. |
