The Getty Research Institute, in collaboration with the Los Angeles Philharmonic,
presents an afternoon of panel discussions that will focus on the design and building
processes of the Walt Disney Concert Hall, as well as the meaning of this significant
structure within the fabric of downtown Los Angeles.
Both panels will be moderated by Carol McMichael Reese, Professor
of Architectural and Urban History at Tulane University, New Orleans,
Louisiana. The panels will be followed by open discussion.
