How do I make a hotel reservation? Is there a special conference rate?
A limited number of sleeping rooms have been blocked at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill. To reserve a room at the group rate of $169.00/night (single/double occupancy) + 14.5% tax, please call 202-737-1234 or 1-800-233-1234. In order to obtain the group rate, be sure to mention that you are attending the "WebWise Conference." The cut-off date for the group rate is Tuesday, January 30, 2007. Reservations will be accepted after this date on a space and rate available basis only. Please note that our room block tends to fill up. Therefore, you are encouraged to make your hotel reservation immediately in order to ensure availability.

Is parking available at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill?
Overnight Guests: Valet Parking is available for $33.00/night + tax (no additional charge for in/out privileges).

Day Guests: Cost ranges from $17.00 to $33.00 per day depending on length of stay (no in/out privileges).

Will high-speed internet access be available at the WebWise Conference?
High-speed wireless internet connectivity will be available in the main meeting room during the WebWise sessions on Thursday and Friday, March 1–2, 2007. However, please make sure that your laptop battery is fully charged, as there will NOT be access to power outlets. An access code will be provided at the conference. Internet connectivity will NOT be provided during the pre-conference workshops.

The Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill offers high-speed wireless internet connectivity in all guest rooms and public areas. There is a daily fee of $9.95 for this service.

When and where will the opening reception be held?
The opening reception will take place on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm in the Thornton Room on the top floor of the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill.

Is there a registration fee for attending WebWise 2007? How do I register?
There is no fee for attending the conference, however, pre-registration is required. To register, please click on the "Register Online" link on the left side of this page.

Can anyone attend the Pre-Conference Workshops?
Yes, anyone can attend the pre-conference workshops. However, pre-registration is required and attendance will be limited to 125 guests for each workshop.

How do I register for the Pre-Conference Workshops?
There is no fee to attend the Pre-Conferences. When you register for the overall WebWise Conference, you will have the option to sign up for a morning and/or an afternoon pre-conference workshop. To register, please click on the "Register Online" link on the left side of this page. Each workshop will be limited to 125 guests.

What meals will be provided during the conference?
Continental Breakfast will be provided for those who pre-register for the morning pre-conference workshop on Wednesday, February 28, 2007.

Lunch will be provided for those who pre-register for the afternoon pre-conference workshops on Wednesday, February 28, 2007.

The opening reception on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 is open to all pre-registered conference attendees.

Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided on Thursday, March 1, 2007 for all pre-registered conference attendees.
