Note: Informal Croatian art group active 1959-1966 in Zagreb, formed by painters, art critics and theorists. Members of Gorgona lacked a stable group identity or credo. The group’s activities consisted of actions, performances, and happenings, some of which were documented. Their best known conceptual project is the anti-magazine Gorgona, published between 1961 and 1966. |
