Miller, Frank (American comic artist, illustrator, and writer, born 1957)
|
Note: Frank Miller is one of the leading forces in the resurgence of comic art in the late 20th and early 21st centuries. He began his career writing with contributions to Gold Key's "The Twilight Zone" in 1978 and then drew "Daredevil" where he began with his film-noir style. In 1986, DC released "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns," where the psychological troubles of superheroes are explored, not just their exploits. Miller's other successful comics include "Sin City" and "300." |
