Craig, Johnny (American comic artist and illustrator, 1926-2001)
|
Note: Craig was one the leading artists for EC comics beginning in 1947, and was in charge of not only the artwork, but also writing the stories. He created the often graphic and violent covers for titles such as "Vault of Horror, "Tales From The Crypt," and "Crime SuspenStories," which became controversial at the time. Craig's style was tight and fluid, and reminiscent of Milton Caniff. |
