Chopin, Henri (French poet, collagist and sound artist, 1922-2008)

Note: Active as a sound artist and concrete poet whose medium was the human voice, most often his own, recorded and manipulated via tape recordings. He designed and published two magazines, "Cinqieme Saison," and "OU" between 1958 and 1974. He also produced what he called "dactylopoèmes" a form of typewriter drawing or non-phonetic visual poetry. |
