Renner, Paul (German typographer, painter, and teacher, 1878-1956)
|
Note: Known for his typeface 'Futura' (1928): a sans-serif used extensively from the mid-20th century. 1925-1926 Renner was the head of the commercial art and typography department at the Frankfurter Kunstschule. He was an early member of the Deutscher Werkbund, and acted as artistic director of the George Müller publishing house in Munich. German graphic designer. |
