Arden Quin, Carmelo (Uruguayan painter, sculptor and theorist, 1913-2010)
|
Note: Studied painting and art history with Emilio Sans, and was influenced by his association with Joaquín Torres-García. Arden Quin was active in the Concrete art movement of the 1940s-1950s in Buenos Aires. He helped found the art journals 'Arturo' and 'Arte Concreto-Invención,' and the Grupo Madí. He later relocated to Paris. |
