Note: Studied at the Kyoto Municipal School of Arts from 1901 to 1907, and the Kyoto College of Fine Arts 1909 to 1911. Helped establish the "National Creative Painting Association" in 1918. He painted mostly in the literati style, and specialized in Buddhist themes. |
