Hellot, Jean (French dyer and chemist, 1685-1766)
|
Note: Hellot worked in an 18th-century porcelain factory partly owned by Louis XV and patronized by Mme d'Etiolles. Hellot was appointed in July 1751 to expand the palette of colors and improve the pastes; his research gave rise to the use of ground colors. |
