Note: American underground experimental filmmaker, actor, and author. He has produced many films from the time of his earliest extant work Fireworks of 1947. He has authored two volumes of the book "Hollywood Babylon." His films merge surrealism with homoeroticism and the occult, and he is considered one of the first openly gay filmmakers. |
