Agostini, Angelo (Italian painter and illustrator, 1843-1910)
|
Note: He was born in Italy. While still a child, he moved to Paris, where he completed his studies in drawing in 1858. He went to Brazil and lived in São Paulo from 1860 onwards. In 1868, he moved to Rio de Janeiro. He worked as an illustrator for several newspapers and was also the founder of many of them. He made a large work with caricatures and drawings that criticize the political situation of Brazil. |
