Note: Born 8 September 1899; died 20 October 1968. He organized the F3 group in Olomouc, 1935, and was a member of the F4 group in Prague 1939. His photographs were influenced by surrealism and Russian constructivism. He worked regularly with the Olomouc Theater, using actors as his models. A member of the Communist Party in 1924, he published regularly in periodicals such as 'Index.'
