Růžička, Drahomir Josef (Czech photographer, 1870-1960)
|
Note: Ruzicka immigrated to Nebraska, United States with his family in 1876. In 1884 Ruzicka moved to New York City, taking up photography in 1904. He helped to found the Pictorial Photographers of America in 1916. He was also associated with the Royal Photographic Society and the Camera Pictorialists of Los Angeles. In 1921 Ruzicka travelled to Czechoslovakia, returning to the United States in 1923. According to Peterson, Ruzicka ceased to photograph ca. 1955. |
