Hastings, Thomas (American architect, 1860-1929)
|
Note: Born 11 March 1860; died 22 October 1929. Hastings entered the office of McKim, Mead & White following his graduation from the Ecole nationale des beaux-arts in Paris, France, in 1884. Hastings founded the architectural firm Carrère & Hastings with John Merven Carrère in 1885. He was awarded the Royal Gold Medal of the Royal Institute of British Architects (R.I.B.A.) in 1922.
