Swank, Luke (American photographer, 1890-1944)
|
Note: Died 14 March 1944. Swank became a photographer in 1930. In 1935, Swank became the official photographer of the University of Pittsburgh. Swank opened his own studio in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1937. In 1936, Swank began an extensive architectural survey of western Pennsylvania for local architects. He also produced photographs documenting the rural architecture of central Pennsylvania. |
