Delmaet, Hyacinthe César (French photographer, 1828-1862)

Note: Born 21 December 1828; died 11 July 1862. In 1854, Delmaet married Clémence Jacob, a commercial traveller. Ca. 1862, Delmaet opened a photographic studio at 30-32 chaussée de Clignancourt with Louis-Emile Durandelle called "Delmaet & Durandelle". After Delmaet's death in 1862, his widow Clémence joined Durandelle in running the firm. She probably was responsible for management of the business. She also later married Durandelle, who sold the firm to his assistant Paul-Joseph-Albert Chevojon after Clémence's death in 1890. Delmaet & Durandelle specialized in topographical and documentary (engineering) subjects. French photographer.
