Note: This is a federally-recognized reservation stewarded by the Hoh (Chalá) Tribe. The reservation spans 443 acres on the Olympic Peninsula's Pacific coast at the mouth of the Hoh River in Jefferson County, Washington. Tribal negotiations with the United States government were formally initiated on July 1, 1855 with the signing of the Quinault Treaty, and the reservation was first established by an Executive Order in 1893.
