Dutch ..... Algemene niet-taxonomische en historische term die verwijst naar het virus dat aids veroorzaakt. Sinds 1991 wordt hiv niet meer beschouwd als officiƫle soortnaam; in plaats daarvan zijn er twee soorten aangewezen, hiv-1 en hiv-2.
