Note: Tropical forests of coniferous or broad-leaved trees that lose their leaves during the dry season; trees do not grow close together and there are few climbing plants. Seasonal rainforests are found in areas having short dry periods in an otherwise very wet tropical region. They are located between the tropical rain forests and the tropical savannas.

Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Tropische bossen van naald- en loofbomen die in het droge seizoen hun bladeren verliezen. De bomen groeien niet dicht op elkaar en er komen weinig klimplanten voor. Seizoensgebonden regenwouden zijn te vinden in gebieden met korte droge seizoenen binnen een verder zeer vochtige tropische regio. Ze liggen tussen de tropische regenwouden en de tropische savannes.
