Note: Islamic writing boards used in Qur'anic schools upon which pupils write verses from the Qur'an as a means of rote learning. Also used as devotional objects, and by diviners in magical practices involving inscriptions and symbols written upon the boards, both Qur'anic and from other sources. Typically they have crescents carved at the top.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 可蘭經學校使用的伊斯蘭文書寫板，學生以抄寫可蘭經文的方式背誦學習。也可做為祈禱物品，或祭司施術過程中在板上刻寫經文或符號，內容出自可蘭經與其他經典。可蘭經版上方一般都刻有半月型圖案。 |
| Dutch ..... Islamitische schrijftabletten die in koranscholen worden gebruikt, waarop leerlingen verzen uit de koran schrijven om ze uit het hoofd te leren. Ook gebruikt als devotionalia, en door wichelaars in magische praktijken, die inscripties en symbolen op de tabletten aanbrengen, afkomstig uit de koran en andere bronnen. Meestal is aan de bovenzijde een halvemaan uitgesneden. |
| Spanish ..... Tabletas islámicas para escribir usadas en las escuelas Coránicas sobre las cuales los alumnos escriben versos del Corán a fin de memorizarlos. También usadas como devocionarios y por adivinos en prácticas mágicas relacionadas con las inscripciones y símbolos escritos sobre las tabletas, tanto del Corán como de otras fuentes. Normalmente tienen medialunas talladas encima. |
