| Dutch ..... Beeldhouwwerken van de Fon, een volk uit Benin in Afrika, bestaande uit een staf met daarop een schijfachtig platform versierd met uitgesneden of gesmede figuurtjes, vaak met hangers die van de randen afhangen. Ze dienen als herinnering aan overleden famillieleden. Tijdens rouwceremonies en vooroudervereringen worden aan de asen offers gebracht en gebeden gewijd. |
