Note: Religious doctrine proposed in 622 and adopted by Byzantine Emperor Heraclius which declared that Jesus Christ had one will but two natures, the divine and the human. This ideology was developed under Patriarch Sergius I of Constantinople in attempt to bridge the gap between Monophysites and Chalcedonians, although neither group accepted it. In 680, the Third Council of Constantinople declared Monothelitism as heretical. |

Chinese (traditional) ..... 西元622年提出的宗教教義,由拜占庭皇帝希拉克流斯(Heraclius)接納,聲稱基督有一個意志,但兼具兩種本性,即神性與人性。此思想由君士坦丁堡的塞吉烏一世(Patriarch Sergius I)發展,意圖在一性派(Monophysites)及加克墩派(Chalcedonians)之間搭起橋梁,雖然兩派均未予接受。西元680年時,君士坦丁堡第三屆大公會議正式宣布基督一志論為異端。 |
Dutch ..... Geloofsleer die in 622 werd voorgesteld en werd aangenomen door de Byzantijnse keizer Heraclius. Deze verklaarde dat Jezus Christus slechts één wil maar twee naturen had, de goddelijke en de aardse. Deze ideologie werd verder ontwikkeld onder de patriarch Sergius I van Konstantinopel teneinde de kloof te overbruggen tussen de monofysieten en de chalcedoniërs, hoewel ze geen van beide de ideologie onderschreven. In 680, bij het Derde Concilie van Konstantinopel, werd het monothelitisme als ketters veroordeeld. |
