Dutch ..... Te gebruiken voor een ruimte of gebied in de wereld van dagelijkse ervaringen, die duidelijk en als één geheel wordt waargenomen en die naast fysieke kenmerken en eigenschappen ook emotionele, doelgerichte en sociale connotaties heeft. Gebruik 'locatie' voor de louter fysieke positie in het heelal die nauwkeurig kan worden omschreven door middel van geografische of astronomische maten, of door de positie in relatie tot geografische of astronomische elementen van de bebouwde omgeving. 
Spanish ..... Úsese para el concepto de un área o espacio dentro del mundo vivo de la experiencia diaria, percibido como distinto y unificado, y poseyendo connotaciones emocionales, útiles y sociales con elementos y características físicas. Para el concepto de posición puramente física en el universo, precisamente definible en términos de elementos y características geográficos o astronómicos del ambiente construido, use "localidad”.
