Dutch ..... Loricae die zijn gemaakt van overlappende bronzen of ijzeren schubben bevestigd op een basis van leer of stevige stof, veelal in horizontale rijen en dakpansgewijs gerangschikt om gaten te voorkomen. Ze werden op zijn laatst in de 4e eeuw v.C. door de Romeinen in gebruik genomen en bleven in gebruik tot in de 4e eeuw n.C. |
Spanish ..... Lóriga hecha de escamas de bronce o hierro sobrepuestas, atadas a uns base de piel o tejido fuerte; típicamente dispuestas en filas horizontales e imbricadas, como los tejas de los tejados, para evitar agujeros. Su uso fue adoptado por los romanos hacia, al menos, el siglo IV a. C., y se continuó hasta el siglo IV d. C. |
