Note: Knots of rugs tied on pairs of warp strands, looping under one strand and then over and around the other, the ends of the knot coming up individually between each single warp strand to form a pile. They can be tied so that the knot ends come up either to the right or to the left of the encircled warp strands.

Additional Notes:

Dutch ..... Knopen van kleden geknoopt op schering strengen in paren, met een lus onder de ene streng en rond de andere, waarbij de uiteinden van de knoop tussen elke enkele streng apart omhoog komen om een opeenhoping te vormen. Ze kunnen zo geknoopt worden dat de uiteinden van de knopen of aan de linker- of aan de rechterkant van de omcirkelde strengen schering omhoog komen.
