Note: French term meaning "putting into the scene," originally used to describe the arrangement of visual components on a stage.The term was later used in film criticism to include discussion of camera position, the relationships between objects, people, and masses and how they collectively affect the work. Results of this technique are often montage sequences, careful editing, and careful composition within and individual film frame. The has been, but is rarely used outside of a film context. |

Dutch ..... Franse term die letterlijk 'in de scène plaatsen' betekent en oorspronkelijk werd gebruikt om de rangschikking van visuele onderdelen op een podium te beschrijven. De term werd later gebruikt in de filmkritiek voor de bespreking van cameraposities, de relaties tussen de onderdelen, mensen en massa's, en wat de gezamenlijke invloed hiervan was op het werk. De resultaten van deze techniek zijn vaak de scènevolgorde, een zorgvuldige montage en een zorgvuldige compositie binnen een individueel filmframe. De term wordt tegenwoordig zelden gebruikt buiten de context van film. |
