Note: Refers to the period of prehistoric tool making that followed the Mousterian industry in Upper Paleolithic Europe. It is named after a region in south central France. It overlaps somewhat with the Aurignacian industry, and was succeeded by the Solutrean. The Perigordian industry is characterized by denticulate Mousterian-style tools, stone knives with one sharp edge and one flat edge, and various scrapers, borers, burins, small blades, and pendants.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 是指接續歐洲舊石器時代晚期的穆斯底里安石器工業期之後的史前工具製造時代。此時期以法國中南部的一個地區加以命名。此一時期多少與阿歇爾石器工業時期有所重疊。佩里戈石器工業的特徵為有齒狀裝飾的穆斯底里安時期的工具、一側邊緣銳利而另一側邊緣平坦的石製刀器，以及各式各樣的刮削器、穿孔器、雕刻刀器、小型刀器與墜飾件。 |
| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar een periode in de prehistorische vervaardiging van werktuigen die volgt op de Mousterién-nijverheid in het hoog-paleolithische Europa. Het is genoemd naar een gebied in het zuiden van midden-Frankrijk. De periode overlapt enigszins met de laat-paleolithische nijverheid en werd gevolgd door het Solutréen. De Périgordien-nijverheid kenmerkt zich door de fijn getande gereedschappen in Mousterién-stijl, stenen messen met een scherpe en een platte kant, en verschillende schrapers, boren, graveerstiften, kleine lemmeten en hangers. |
| Spanish ..... Se refiere al período de fabricación de herramientas que siguió a la industria Musteriense en Europa Paleolítica Superior. Lleva el nombre de una región al sur de Francia central. Se superpone un poco con la industria Auriñacense, y fue sucedida por la Solutrense. La industria Perigordiense es caracteriza por herramientas denticuladas de estilo Musteriense, cuchillos de piedra con un borde afilado y un borde plano, y varios raspadores, perforadores, buriles, hojas de cuchillo pequeñas, y pendientes. |
