Note: A type of wood ceiling primarily found in Islamic, Spanish, or Moorish architecture. The structure is a series of girders with perpendicular beams, which are often carved, painted, or otherwise stylized. This type of ceiling, with variations, appears in Spanish colonial sites in the Americas as well as in Europe and North Africa. |

A estrutura é uma série de vigas com vigas perpendiculares, que muitas vezes são esculpidas, pintadas ou estilizadas de outra forma. Este tipo de teto, com variações, aparece em sítios coloniais espanhóis nas Américas, bem como na Europa e no Norte da África. |
