| Dutch ..... Christelijk religieus monument in de vorm van een zuil, opgericht bij wijze van dankzegging voor het overleven van de pest. Ze kunnen opgedragen zijn aan de Heilige Drie-eenheid, de maagd Maria, een heilige, of aan iets of iemand anders. Ze kwamen veel voor in katholieke Europese landen, vooral in de 17e en 18e eeuw. |
