Dutch ..... Een blauwpaarse kleurstof die bekend is uit Bijbelse verwijzingen en die van schelpdieren afkomstig heet te zijn. Men is het er echter niet over eens over welke soort of soorten het precies gaat. De kleurstof wordt gebruikt voor kleding van geestelijken, de tapijten in de tabernakel en de kwastjes die aan de talliet zitten. |
