Note: The blue used by the Seri Indians of Sonora Mexico in face painting. It is a prepared pigment derived from root bark of Franseria dumosa which is ground with a light-colored local clay and green organic resin of the flowering plant Guaiacum coulteri.

| Dutch ..... Het blauw dat wordt gebruikt door de Seri-Indianen van Sonora in Mexico om gezichten te schilderen. Het is een geprepareerd pigment dat gemaakt is van wortelschors van de Franseria dumosa, die wordt gemalen met lichtgekleurde klei en groene organische hars van de bedektzadige plant Guaiacum coulteri. |
