Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Hoge, open bakjes, soms met een figuratieve stam voor zout voor gemeenschappelijk gebruik aan tafel. Staan meestal op drie of vier pootjes of op een brede voet. Gebruik 'zoutvaatjes' voor lage vaatjes voor zout. 
German ..... Hohes, offenes Gefäß zum Vorhalten von Salz zum gemeinschaftlichen Gebrauch bei Tisch; ruhte gewöhnlich auf mehreren Füßen oder Beinen oder einem sich ausweitenden Fuß. Für kleine, niedrige Gefäße, die Tafelsalz enthalten, verwende den Begriff "Salznapf". 
Spanish ..... Vasijas altas y abiertas para contener sal para uso común en la mesa; generalmente montadas sobre varios pies o patas, o una base extendida. Para vasijas pequeñas y bajas para contener sal de mesa, use "salero de cuenco".
